blinkbox has added a raft of children’s TV programmes following deals with eOne, Aardman, Lionsgate and Cookie Jar.
The subscription-free streaming service has snapped up rights to Peppa Pig (eOne), Shaun the Sheep (Aardman), The Adventures of Paddington Bear, Johnny Test (Cookie Jar) and Poppy Cat (Lionsgate).
The content spree is the latest of many for blinkbox which, in the last six months alone, added over 7,000 titles to its catalogue, making it the destination for the latest movies and TV without subscription.
As with all blinkbox titles, the shows can be accessed on a rapidly growing number of devices, including games consoles (Xbox 360 and PS3), tablets and Smart devices (TVs, Blu-Ray players, set top boxes) as well as PCs and Macs.
Michael Comish, CEO Tesco Digital Entertainment, said: “We are thrilled to have the hottest children’s programmes on blinkbox, especially as we head into the holidays. This is good news for kids and parents alike.”
blinkbox is the only service in the UK that that can boast such a huge choice of the latest movies and TV releases all without being locked into a subscription.
